We had a great day with Bailey and Carter today! We played hard, and they ate so much at meal time. We had fun playing peek-a-boo, and Bailey discovered Chris’s belly button today.

Where's Mommy?

There you are!

Mommy, you are so silly!

This is fun! Hide again, Mommy!

Carter rides on the hot rod

Quick hug

Big snuggle!
We’ve had a fun weekend, but Bailey and Carter wear us out! Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks:

"Here Kitty Kitty!"

"Where did she go?"

Allie thinks, "Whew, I escaped! I'm getting out of this room!"

Bailey "plays" the keys while Carter "works" the pedals

Just chillin' on Daddy

More Smiles

Here are some of our precious memories caught on camera of our first Christmas at home together. Christmas will never be the same ( in a good way)!

Christmas morning stair climbing race!

Bailey enjoys the traditional Bailey Family Christmas Breakfast

Santa brought Bailey and Carter drums in their stockings

Bailey thinks the drum mallet is a microphone

Can this big present be a drum, too?

Bailey tries out his new chair from Annie and Paw Paw

A little rest.....

ELMO!!!

Bailey sneaks a touch of the Christmas tree

I've discovered my tongue!

What's in this bag?? Is it for Me???

Bailey and Carter had a fabulous first birthday! They weren’t sure how to unwrap the presents, so Chris and I had to help. I think they were confused that they were allowed to grab and rip the paper; we have been teaching them to touch things with one finger instead of grabbing.
Here are some pics of the big day:

Carter enjoys a ride in the basket!

The "smash" cakes before smashing

Mmmmmm!

"Happy Birthday to Bailey and Carter...."

"Squishy!"

"You were right, Mom! This is one of life's ultimate pleasures!"

Demolished!

"I'm gonna get you!"

Bailey loves Uncle Tyler!

"I'm jealous that Santa gets these cookies!"

"Santa's gonna love these, but I need another taste to make sure!"

So tired at the end of the day!
Bailey and Carter had a big day moving, pushing, pulling everything around!

Climbing to the window!

"You won't believe what I just saw!!"

Bailey starts to "rearrange"

Now for the rocker....

Carter decides to help...

How about in the bathroom?

"No, Bailey!! Not there!!"

Let's try another spot...

"Mommy and Daddy might not want it in front of their door"
Now onto riding in the laundry basket

Bailey and Carter have had fun this Christmas season! Chris and I can’t wait to celebrate their b-day on Wed, and see them tear open the wrapping paper then and on Christmas. Bailey and Carter were amazed by Santa. Today we went for a picture, and they were mesmerized and staring him down. They did look forward at the camera, but they didn’t smile. I think they were very confused about this man in a red suit with a big white beard.

We had a delicious lasagna (homemade by Jen!). Bailey and Carter loved their first lasagna experience; they also liked the garlic bread. We had fun all being together before John and Jen head north for Christmas.

Bailey and Carter are already enjoying the sights and sounds of the Christmas season! Last night we went to the Children’s Christmas Pageant at church. Bailey and Carter enjoyed all of the music and looking at the costumes. I can’t believe their first birthday is only 2 weeks away!
